For nearly seventy years, Baia Sangiorgio has been an integral part of the city\u2019s life. The Gold Medal<\/h2>

A New Life, the Same Bay<\/h2>

The owners have resumed direct management and are launching a new season. The resort has been revitalized and is now known as Baia Sangiorgio Hotel & Beach Club, preserving the history of the place while embracing the future.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n

1087 \u00b7 An Even Older Story<\/p>

St. Nicholas passed through here<\/h2>

According to local accounts and Bari tradition, before reaching the city, the sailors carrying the relics of Saint Nicholas landed at the small port of San Giorgio.
